Conceptual Design

Sometimes the ideas that lead towards a design are as important as the design itself. This is because, in order to reach a strong and coherent solution, it is important to explore the myriad of concepts that eventually come together to form the final product. Spending time developing these "seed" ideas is called "Conceptual Design". Often clients have a wide range of ideas as well as a final goal but don't know how to progress from one to the other.

This is where Metal Dragons comes in. Our wide range of skills mean we can take these "seeds" and germinate them into fully realised and highly detailed visualisations that allow clients to clearly see the mapped out route between their ideas and their goal.

Our conceptual designs take many forms from unique product designs, interiors, character designs, storyboards and set visualisations, although sometimes it can be as simple as exploring the use of a brand on an extended range of printed materials or in real world situations.
